My photography style is a mix of fine art and photojournalism, focusing on capturing real moments as they naturally unfold. I step in where needed to make an image come to life and to guide you into natural poses, but other than that I’m usually unobtrusive while I shoot. By not forcing things and allowing the day to organically happen, I’m able to create images that are a true reflection of the two of you and your relationship, nothing fake or cheesy. I also understand how incredibly priceless photographs of friends and family can be as time goes on, and am always capturing candids throughout the day (if you have them along). Whether it’s just the two of you on a mountain top or you’re sharing your day with your closest loved ones, it’s always incredibly special to be trusted by couples with the memories of their day.

From helping with location ideas, logistics, vendor recommendations, creating a timeline, and making sure it all goes smoothly day of – I’m so much more than just a photographer! After being a part of over 100 weddings and elopements, I understand how to make them feel authentic and unique. There are ways to make them flow so each part feels natural and special, and since I spend all my free time exploring Alaska, I know of locations that are off the beaten path and have the experience to get us there. 

My packages begin at $2,000, with the average investment for couples being $4,500. I shoot with both digital and film cameras, and will bring my drone out wherever permitted. It’s also an option to add a short 2-3 minute film showcasing your elopement.
