Bridal Shoot | with Designer Elizabeth Dye

March 12, 2019

LOCATION

Bird Point, Alaska

In the winter Bird Point has a muted palette of marshy browns, mud flat grays, forest greens, and deep ocean blues. Elizabeth Dye is one of my favorite designers based in Portland, Oregon and she makes ethereal gowns that flow and move, making them seem like they belong in beautiful natural locations. I asked her if she would be interested in collaborating on a shoot and told her what I had in mind, and she ended up creating this beauty. Samantha was our model, wearing jewelry that was passed down through her family. It all tied together with a gorgeous bouquet by Bloomsbury Blooms.  This shoot was featured on Magnolia Rouge.
